A 10-year limited lifetime warranty includes certain exclusions
Killswitch warrants to the original purchaser, and not the benefit of anyone else, that our 12 volt DC product, is free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper use during the 10 year life span of the product. After this life span the internal parts become out-of-specification and a new unit will need to be purchased.
Killswitch will only correct such defects by FREE replacement with a new unit with a small shipping and handling fee. This warranty is void if the product is installed improperly or in an improper environment, overloaded, misused, opened, abused, or altered in any matter, or is not used under normal operating conditions on not in accordance with any labels or instructions. Exception: the necessary modification of ring-lug terminals is permitted for installation in some situations and will not void this warranty.
This unit should always be used with 10-amp fuse (red-colored). This fuse satisfies all requirements to not void vehicle warranty programs. If the KillSwitch unit should become so damaged inside to become “welded” into one mass of metal, this safety fuse will eventually open to protect the car battery and wiring harness.
All liability for labor costs for removal of this product or reinstallation is EXCLUDED from this warranty and there are no other implied warranties of any kind, including fitness and merchantability for a particular purpose. Killswitch is not liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including without limitation, damage to, or loss of use of, any equipment, lost sales or profits or delay or failure to perform this warranty obligation. The remedies provided herein are the exclusive remedies under this warranty, whether based on contract, tort, or otherwise.
